Steel Dynamics, Inc. offers a hands-on Quality Intern position at the Sinton Flat Roll Division during Summer 2027. You will support quality programs, assist in audits, and perform metallurgical testing and strip inspections alongside experienced engineers.

The role emphasizes root cause analysis, data collection, and continuous improvement projects, with housing support for non-local interns and a strong focus on practical, industry-level training for future engineering leadership.

Competenze

• Pursuing a degree in Metallurgical Engineering, Materials Science, Mechanical, Manufacturing/Industrial Engineering, or Quality Engineering.
• GPA of 2.7 or higher preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication.
• Ability to work independently and with a team in a fast-paced environment.

Internship Location

This internship is located at the Steel Dynamics Sinton Flat Roll Division located in Sinton, TX. This internship will take place in Summer 2027.

What Qualifications Do I Need?
