Job summary

ITT Inc. in Valencia, CA is seeking a Summer Intern in Quality Engineering. This 40-hour per week program runs May to August 2027 for undergraduates in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, junior or senior year.

Responsibilities include assisting Quality Engineers with root cause analysis, documenting work instructions, and supporting fabrication and assembly processes. Candidates must be enrolled in an accredited engineering program and have knowledge of statistical analysis and CAD/Excel

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (BS/MS/PhD).
• In good standing and eligible for summer internship.
• Knowledge of statistical analysis and problem solving.

Position Summary

Position: Summer Intern – Quality Engineering

Location: Valencia, CA

Major(s): Mechanical or Electrical Engineer AND Junior or Senior Year

Academic Schedule: May to August 2027, full-time, 40 hours per week.

Essential Responsibilities

Assist Quality Engineers with Quality engineering activities, including:

• Participate in Root Cause Analysis and Corrective Action for customer return / fabrication issue
• Develop and document work instruction for fabrication and assembly
• Various other related tasks as assigned

Position Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a Mechanical or Electrical Engineering program (BS/MS/PhD), in good standing
• Knowledge of statistical analysis
• Problem Solving skill
• Knowledge/experience in CAD, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
