Job summary

TRIGO Global Quality Solutions seeks Quality Inspectors for our Vincennes, IN site. You will inspect manufactured parts to ensure they meet quality standards and support a safe, compliant work environment.

Starting pay is $17.00 per hour on 1st shift and $17.75 per hour on 2nd shift. Reports to the Site Supervisor; opportunities to learn our global quality services, with exposure to manufacturing and warehouse operations.

Qualifications

• Must be able to speak and read English.
• Good communication skills.

• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential material.
• Able to stand and walk for long periods.
• Able to bend, lift, twist and move freely.
• Ability to periodically lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Use measuring or testing equipment as needed.

• Display excellent customer service.
• Must comply with local and company Health & Safety legislation, laws, and policies.
• Collect and record data.

Overall Purpose of the Quality Inspector

Provide Quality services and support for all missions assigned to a manufacturing or warehouse site while ensuring a healthy and safe work environment.

Site Supervisor/Site Leaders

Responsibilities

Client Relationship & Business Development

• Act as an impartial third party between the production source and the customer facility to ensure the product meets set criteria

Operations

• Check/inspect manufactured parts or products for defects
• Read and follow work instructions and general processes
• Use measuring or testing equipment as needed
• Ensure products meet quality standards
• Display excellent customer service
• Must comply with local and company Health & Safety legislation, laws, and policies

Organization & Management

• Collect and record data

Technical

• Utilize company portal for time recording and policy acknowledgements

• Any other duties as assigned
