Job summary

Varex Imaging Corporation is seeking a Quality Assurance/QA Inspector to perform product inspections, audits of quality control programs, and sampling of raw materials. The role includes testing incoming components and assisting with method validation and labeling compliance.

You will draft procedures, support troubleshooting of testing methods, and work under close supervision on routine tasks while upholding safety and quality standards in a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 0–1 year of experience.
• Familiar with basic quality-control procedures and documentation.

Job description

Summary Performs product inspection and/or audits of quality control programs. Performs packaging line and manufacturing inspections, and sampling and testing of incoming components and raw materials. Ensures raw materials, in-process and finished products meet company standards. May apply approval or rejection labels to bulk raw materials once analytical data is evaluated. May draft procedures and assist with validating or troubleshooting testing methods, including assays. May assess draft and final label copy, using knowledge of labeling regulations. Minimizes down time by reducing production rework and recalls.

Required Certifications and Training Obtains and completes LMS training plan specific to assigned responsibility.

Experience Level with Business Tools

Familiar with business tools such as: E-mail, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Experience with SAP or equivalent ERP product and productivity software desired.

ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
