Job summary

Emerson Distribution Center in Olive Branch, MS is seeking a driven Quality Technician to uphold quality control standards and perform detailed inspections on parts, visually and with thread gauges. You will oversee inspection areas, QA checks, and return logistics while supporting training of new hires and RCCA investigations.

The role requires 2+ years in quality, forklift experience, strong communication skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in quality role.
• Experience in quality inspection or similar role.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word & Excel).
• Forklift experience or certification required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Ability to multitask with strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the inspection area (West Dock, Rebox, MRB).
• Perform QA checks to ensure products meet standards.
• Inspect return parcels/pallets to restock or return to customer.
• Observe new hires on quality; train and evaluate operators.
• Investigate customer complaints using RCCA methods.
• Apply mechanical aptitude to inspect and troubleshoot products.
• Respond to quality alerts with detailed product checks.
