Job summary

NSK Precision America, Inc. (NPA) is seeking a Quality Inspector for a 10-hour, Monday–Thursday 1st shift (5am–3:30pm).

The role requires interpreting drawings, quality plans, and specifications, using calipers, micrometers, Rockwell and Microvickers equipment to inspect parts at various production stages.

Qualifications

• Experience interpreting drawings, quality plans, and documents.
• Understand dimension specs and tolerances.
• Follow written instructions and inspection techniques.
• Experienced with calipers, micrometers, snap gauges, thread ring gauges, Rockwell hardness testing equipment, and Microvickers.
• Inspect parts at various production stages.
• Maintain clean work environment to prevent contamination.
• Perform visual quality audits.
• Basic knowledge of Excel, MS Office, Access, QuickBase, and Outlook.
• Identify non-conforming items and report defects.
