Job summary

DSG-Canusa in Fairfield, OH, is seeking a Quality Inspector to help protect product quality and support manufacturing operations. You will conduct inspections, tests, and document results, review Certificates of Analysis, and escalate nonconformances to drive corrective actions.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in quality inspection in manufacturing, familiarity with measurement tools (Calipers, Micrometers), and proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of experience in manufacturing quality inspection or quality control.
• Knowledge of inspection and lab equipment: Hot Set, Melt Index, Optical Comparator/Shadowgraph, Calipers, Micrometers.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and data management tools.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications and quality requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform Quality Inspection and Testing on materials and finished products.
• Prepare Certificates of Analysis for tested materials and products.
• Review incoming raw material Certificates of Analysis and Certificates of Conformance.
• Identify and escalate nonconforming products or processes for corrective action.
• Audit production processes to verify compliance with quality standards.
• Maintain accurate and organized quality records.
• Collaborate with Production Supervisors and Purchasing on quality concerns.
