Job summary

Alloy Surfaces Company (ASC) is seeking a Quality Inspector to support daily QA operations by testing and inspecting products and electronics per standard procedures. You will measure parts with appropriate tools, perform visual inspections, and ensure compliance with customer specs, internal systems, and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities include calibrating equipment traceable to NIST, documenting non-conformances, and supporting process improvements within a regulated manufacturing

Qualifications

• Associate degree or technical degree/certification, or related experience.
• Minimum 2 years of quality experience in a regulated manufacturing environment.
• Experience supporting U.S. Government contracting activities (FAR, DFARS, DCMA) preferred.
• Knowledge of AS9100 and/or ISO 9001 quality management systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform tests and inspections on in-process, final, and supplier parts with standard and specialized equipment.
• Read technical data/drawings and maintain inspection records per procedures.
• Calibrate test equipment traceable to NIST and maintain standards.
• Document non-conformances and determine accept/reject decisions.
• Support test/inspection process improvements and prepare reports.
• Assist internal audits and recommend improvements to methods and facilities.
