Job summary

VIVA USA Inc. is seeking a Quality Inspector to join our team in Pasadena, TX. You will inspect commercial and nuclear parts, verify measurements and testing requirements, and ensure accurate documentation including CMTRs.

You will collaborate with production and documentation teams to address non-conformances, support lean initiatives, and train operators to boost customer satisfaction while adhering to safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Diploma or equivalent in mechanical/technical field is required.
• Experience reading CAD drawings and working with GD&T is essential.
• NDE Level 2 (PT & MT) is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Inspecting Commercial & Nuclear parts to ensure measurement and testing requirements are met.
• Verify warehouse picking accuracy by confirming part numbers and quantities.
• Collect and review product documentation and CMTRs as required.
• Document inspection results and maintain accurate records.
• Collaborate with Material Review Board to address non-conforming products and determine corrective actions.
• Provide inspection reports and CMTRs to satisfy customer requirements.
• Perform final inspection of assembled, tested valves against ITPS and verify tag markings meet customer specs.
• Report defects and assist in root-cause analysis to prevent recurrence.
• Support safety protocols during inspections and promote a safe workplace.
• Assist in training operations staff to improve quality and customer satisfaction.
• Participate in lean initiatives as needed.
