Job summary

Enprotech, LLC located in Cleveland, OH, is seeking a Quality Inspector to examine materials, parts, and components for quality compliance with specifications. You will disassemble, inspect, and verify dimensions using precision measuring tools, and assist in machine repair as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience.
• Proficiency in blueprint reading and interpretation.
• Ability to read drawings and obtain dimensions for engineering.
• Experience with calipers, gauges and inspection equipment.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble, clean, and inspect machine sub-assemblies for cracks, wear, and dimensional integrity.
• Inspect and test completed assemblies and subassemblies, performing related duties.
• Verify dimensions of parts and location of holes, grooves, and other features using calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, and height/depth gauges.
• Connect assemblies to power sources and determine functionality.
• Assist in general machine repair and reassembly of press sub-assemblies as workload dictates.
• Create part disposition prints for engineers, including hand sketches and blueprints.
