Job summary

Amcor is seeking a production associate in Princeton, New Jersey to support manufacturing operations on the line, ensure safety and quality, and document activities throughout shifts. The role emphasizes attention to product handling, adherence to procedures, and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

You will participate in lean and safety initiatives, perform inspections, and assist with machine startups and line clearances while maintaining a clean, organized work area.

Qualifications

• Adhere to safety procedures and maintain quality standards.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal communication skills, both written and spoken.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Previous manufacturing experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety procedures are followed at all times and report unsafe conditions.
• Understand the product line and potential defects affecting function.
• Perform production verifications at start of order and each shift.
• Conduct visual inspections and notify coordinator of defects.
• Use data acquisition software to determine necessary gauging during production.
• Keep accurate production documentation in software.
• Inspect parts on conveyors and perform liner inspections as required.
• Package and handle production per manufacturing specs.
• Record scrap accurately and dispose of it properly.
• Assist with machine startups, shutdowns and line clearances.
• Maintain a clean, organized workstation and participate in Lean and Safety programs.
