Job summary

Planet Pharma in Memphis, TN is seeking a Receiving Inspector to perform first article inspections, capability studies, and gage R&R. You will inspect materials and products against drawings and print specs, using measuring gauges to verify conditions.

Role includes supporting qualification/validation, reviewing documentation for acceptability, and promoting quality standards. On-site position with health and safety responsibilities.

• Perform moderate first article inspections, capability studies and gage repeatability and reproducibility studies.

Responsibilities

• Inspect raw materials, components, assembled product, semi-finished product & finished product per inspection procedures/drawings and to print specifications.
• Utilize attribute and variable measuring equipment/gauges as well as mating parts to determine as found/as left conditions of product.
• Support the qualification/validation processes for company product.
• Review corresponding product documentation to verify acceptability per specification and QSR requirements.
• Support department and organizational objectives.
• Represent and promote quality standards.
• Adhere to all Health, Safety and Environmental policies and procedures.
• Cross train in all aspects of the Receiving Inspector role.
• Train fellow associates to perform functions within the Receiving Inspector role.

Job description

Pay range: 20-30/hr
*depending on experience
