The Pivot Group Network in Charlotte, MI is seeking an Inspection Technician to support quality control across production lines. You will inspect materials and finished parts, read blueprints, and document results to ensure conformance with specifications.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, experience in manufacturing, and strong attention to detail. Calipers, micrometers, and gauges will be used daily to verify dimensions and maintain calibration records.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring tools.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow written procedures.
• Basic math and familiarity with quality documentation.

Responsabilidades

• Report recurring defects to supervisors and quality staff.
• Inspect incoming materials, in-process parts, and finished products against specifications.
• Use calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other hand tools to measure dimensions.
• Record inspection results in paper logs or electronic quality systems.
• Flag nonconforming parts and route them for review or rework.
• Read blueprints, drawings, and work instructions to confirm requirements.
• Perform first article, in-process, and final inspections on production runs.
• Keep inspection areas clean and maintain calibration records for tools.
