Job summary

Oliver Healthcare Packaging is seeking a meticulous Quality Inspector for 1st shift to inspect products against specifications and prepare finished goods for shipment. The role requires attention to detail, basic math, and the ability to read drawings and orders.

Responsibilities include reviewing quality standards, identifying defects, packaging materials, creating labels, and maintaining accurate documentation.

Responsibilities

• Reviews Quality Standards: Studies production orders, drawings, manufacturing and customer specifications. Verifies specifications with supervisor and quality assurance department, as needed.
• Identifies Product Quality: Inspects products and dimensional characteristics and follows SOPs and Work Instructions regarding non-conformances.
• Packaging Materials: Reviews order requirements and expected product output per shift or assignment. Gathers materials per spec.
• Label Creation: Reviews production order and specifications. Inputs information into computer and prints the required labels. Verifies label content.
• Wrap and Pack: Wraps and packs product per order and materials.
• Documentation: Notes quantity counts, uses basic math, and completes paperwork per instructions.
• Inspection Completion: Obtains Quality Assurance approval; segregates rejects and notifies operator of defects.
• Department Schedule: Works the standard shift; may work additional hours when needed.
