Job summary

MicroPrecision inc. in Wisconsin Delavan is seeking a QA Inspector B to inspect and test processes and products to ensure quality in accordance with ISO and customer standards.

You will use precision measuring equipment, maintain documentation, and support ISO audits while upholding company quality policies.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma and 2 years of quality/inspection experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma and/or G.E.D.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in manufacturing quality and inspection processes
• Must be quality conscious and in continual pursuit of improvement
• Exhibit core values of integrity and accountability
• Maintain a clean, orderly and efficient work area
• Ability to work with limited supervision, in a team environment and in a solo capacity
• Demonstrates ability to read, write, speak, hear and interpret documents and instructions from both verbal and written English.
• Exhibit strong attention to detail, problem solving, time management and interpersonal skills
• Possess data entry and computer skills including, but not limited to, Microsoft Office Suite and ERP applications

Responsibilities

• Maintain the quality record matrix and quality forms
• Assist in the development of new work instructions and forms
• Perform analysis on select processes and report findings
• Recommend updated or new processes
• Responsible for the detection of defective material and initiation of defective material reportsAssist in the quarantine of defective materials
• Administer approved changes to the quality system
• Use a variety of precision measuring instruments and gaging equipment including comparator, micrometer, caliper, MicroVu, Oasis operation, hard gages, height gages GO/NO GO gages, thread gages, profilometer and roundness checkers
• Accuracy verification of gages and measuring equipment
• Mechanically and mathematically adept
• Assist in QA and ISO audits
• All other duties as assigned
