Saab, Inc. in the United States (Michigan) is seeking a Quality Inspector to join our team. This role focuses on inspecting incoming materials, components and products to ensure they meet engineering drawings and quality requirements.

You will work with Quality, Warehouse, and Manufacturing, use calipers, micrometers, height gauges and ERP for data entry, and help with audits and continuous improvement.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years of relevant experience.
• Comfortable using computers and learning software programs.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Strong attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong time management skills.

You will work closely with the Quality, Warehouse, and Manufacturing teams to maintain a high level of quality for our customers.

Responsibilities Include:

• Inspect incoming materials, components and products using visual, mechanical, and measurement techniques.

• Verify materials against engineering drawings, specifications, purchase order, and quality requirements.

• Use precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, height gages, and other inspection tools.

• Collect and maintain related quality records.

• Use of a computer-based ERP system for data entry and inventory management.

• Identify, document, and segregate nonconforming materials.

• Assist in first article and sampling inspections, as requested.

• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and requirements.

Compensation Range:Commensurate with experience
