Job summary

OPW is seeking a Quality Analyst at our Allentown facility to perform in-process and final product quality analyses in line with industry standards. You will interpret results, compare to specifications, and determine accept/reject decisions using calibrated measuring devices and inspection tools.

The role requires reading blueprints, diagrams and customer specifications, with routine guidance and a pathway for growth through technical education and hands-on experience.

Qualifications

• Interprets and evaluates analyses against established specifications for accuracy and precision.
• Identifies ongoing quality issues and suggests improvements to prevent production problems.
• Uses measuring devices, testing equipment, prescribed methods and inspection instructions to accept or reject products.
• May work from blueprints, diagrams, dial indicators, preset micrometers, scales, fixtures, customer specifications and checklists.
• Basic knowledge of procedures and tools obtained through work experience; may require vocational/technical education.
