Job summary

Sumitomo Drive Technologies is seeking a Quality Inspector to validate products from manufacturing and assembly, ensuring conformance to ISO-9001 and proper use of measurement tools. The role performs in-process audits and advanced inspections (PPAP, weld, CMM) and supports corrective actions within a safety-sensitive, industrial setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in QA as inspector/auditor/technician preferred per the listed paths.
• Strong knowledge of quality control practices and measurement tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform qualifying inspections of internal/external products to meet design requirements.
• Inspect and test manufactured assemblies for conformance to design/configuration and COAs.
• Identify and report non-conformances of product or processes.
• Conduct in-process audits to ensure procedures are followed (ISO).
• Support corrective action investigations.
• Assist with MRB review, gage management, and documentation control.
