Job summary

MW Components is seeking a Quality Inspector II to perform inspections of externally sourced components, in-process parts, and finished products to ensure they meet quality standards. The role trains on 1st shift up to 90 days, then moves to 2nd shift, and reports to the Department Manager in the Quality department.

Essential duties include inspecting products, documenting results, enforcing quality standards, maintaining inspection records, and communicating with the team to resolve issues.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least two years of experience in a quality position required.
• AS9102 FAI inspection experience required.
• Knowledge of ISO9001 and AS9100 preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspect in-process and finished product per procedures.
• Document inspection results accurately.
• Enforce quality standards and report issues.
• Maintain controlled inspection files and results.
• Report product or service quality levels to team.
• Communicate with Production and Quality teams to resolve issues.
• Evaluate problems and recommend corrective actions.
• Monitor equipment and instrumentation for proper operation.
• Read and interpret blueprint drawings.
