General Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical Systems in Hampton, AR is seeking an Inspection Operator I to support quality and QE functions. You will conduct QC inspections on products, materials and components at various production stages to ensure compliance with quality standards.

The role involves capturing and analyzing data, recommending improvements and working under supervision with clearly defined methods. Ability to perform repetitive inspections and operate calibrated equipment is required.

Formación

• High School Diploma/GED required and 0-3 years' experience OR Equivalent Combination of Relevant Education &/or Experience
• Vocational/Technical Training Degree preferred
• Oral and written communication skills. Mathematical skills. Computer skills. Technical expertise. Detail oriented.

Responsabilidades

• Performs repetitive and routine inspections, checks, tests and sampling procedures of standard parts, units, equipment, or materials.
• Performs inspections of purchased parts, subassemblies or finished company products according to well-defined criteria using standard physical, mechanical and/or electrical measurements.
• Reworks or rejects subassemblies or finished products as required.
• Performs audits to ensure standards of quality are maintained.
• Documents the results of the inspections and testing.
• Coordinates calibration of test equipment and fixtures.
• Assists with inspection procedures, protocol and checklists.
