Job summary

PPS-HPS is seeking an experienced Quality Inspector I for our semiconductor support industry fabrication facility in Hillsboro. This full-time, permanent position offers second-to-none benefits, including profit sharing bonuses and excellent growth potential.

The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, proficiency in GD&T, and a high school diploma or equivalent. Responsibilities include performing inspections and generating reports to ensure product quality and safety.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years working in machine shop, assembly clean rooms in the semiconductor industry.
• Must be able to read and apply production instructions, drawings, BOM schematics, and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that products meet standards of quality and safety.
• Perform inspections, checks and tests for quality control.
• Generates detail inspection and nonconformance reports.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings for inspection reports.

Skills

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Good working knowledge of MS Office applications

Basic math abilities

Proficient in GD&T

Proficient in mechanical measurement techniques

Proficient with weld symbols

Proficiency using handheld tools

Able to proficiently operate CMM

Education

High School Diploma/equivalent

Some technician coursework/AA degree
