Job summary

1-800-FLOWERS.COM, INC in Obetz, OH seeks a Quality Inspector I to perform daily inspections of incoming and in-process materials to ensure quality meets specifications. Location: training at 4465 Industrial Center Dr, Obetz; primary work at Groveport, OH 43125; schedule 7:00AM-3:30PM Monday-Friday.

High school diploma or equivalent preferred, with 6+ months QC experience preferred; valid driver’s license required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 6+ months of quality control experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required.

Responsibilities

• Inspect incoming and in-process products to ensure they meet established specifications.
• Document inspection findings and submit reports to the QC Supervisor or delegate.
• Accurately input data into QC software systems.
• Communicate quality concerns to QC2s and supervisors for prompt corrective action.
• Collaborate with production supervisors to resolve quality issues.
• Maintain compliance with safety standards and immediately report any safety concerns.
• Ensure all departmental procedures and standards are followed.
• Perform basic math calculations (percentages, fractions, decimals) accurately.
