Job summary

Tyber Medical, LLC in Bethlehem, PA is seeking a Quality Inspector I to perform inspections of finished and semi-finished medical devices, components and raw materials to ensure compliance with quality plans and specs. You will conduct visual, functional, and dimensional checks across production stages.

The role requires Basic tool proficiency, strong math skills, ability to lift up to 25 lbs, and independent work with excellent organizational ability.

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of using calipers, micrometers, hard gauging and other applicable inspection tools.
• Basic working knowledge of fractions, ratios, and proportions.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds occasionally.
• Visual requirements include color, depth and distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance to federal and state laws, as well as company standards and specifications.
• Perform visual, functional and dimensional inspections across all stages of production.
• Communicate quality or compliance concerns with urgency.
• Corrects or escalates quality or compliance concerns.
• Follows all Tyber Medical, LLC Standard Operating Procedures.
• Responsible for preventative maintenance activities.
• Other Duties as assigned
