Job summary

W-Industries is seeking a Quality Inspector to perform incoming inspections of materials and components. You will verify documentation, traceability, and dimensional/visual quality, conduct PMI, and maintain detailed inspection records to ensure material integrity.

Responsibilities include identifying nonconformances, issuing NCRs, managing quarantine, and ensuring proper storage. Requirements include English fluency, ability to read drawings, and proficiency with Office tools; ASQ CQI is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in English; Spanish a plus.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings (basic level).
• Good presentation and communication (written and verbal) skills.
• Competency with Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform incoming inspection of materials and components to ensure compliance with purchase orders, codes, and project specifications.
• Verify documentation, traceability, and material condition, including dimensional and visual checks.
• Conduct PMI, maintain inspection records, and ensure proper storage and preservation.
• Identify nonconformances, raise NCRs, and manage quarantine controls to maintain material integrity.
• Verify correct storage and preservation requirements.
