Job summary

Integra LifeSciences in the United States is seeking a Quality Inspector to support packing and inspection operations in a GMP-regulated manufacturing setting. You will sample, measure dimensions, and decide release decisions based on inspection data.

The role requires reading drawings, following written procedures, and maintaining QC records. Experience with testing instruments and a standing-heavy workload is expected.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• One (1) year experience in a similar position in an FDA regulated manufacturing environment preferred.
• Driver's license on heavy vehicles highly preferred.
• Knowledge of basic math concepts, graphs interpretation, and use of procedures, and inspection methods.
• Knowledge of statistical process control techniques.
• Ability to read, understand drawings and written documents in English.
• Ability to work using testing instruments and manual equipment.
• Ability to be in a standing position for long periods of time.

Responsibilities

• Inspects labels, pids, and pouches to approve packing operations.
• Obtains samples, inspects samples to specifications, records data and makes accept/reject decisions.
• Verifies dimensions and specifications using gauges and testing equipment.
• Follows quality control criteria to release lots or re-work as needed.
• Reads specifications, drawings, and procedures; maintains QC records.
• Assists in training of new QA inspectors and conducts spot audits.
• Maintains clean, compliant work area and follows GMP/Quality Manual.
• Uses testing instruments and may operate various equipment as required.
