Job summary

Alkegen is a specialty materials leader focused on battery technologies, filtration media, and insulation materials. The Quality Inspector I will perform QC inspection and testing of finished gaskets to ensure adherence to TS16949 and ISO14001 standards, while supporting changeovers, documentation, and safe operations in a fast-paced environment.

This role requires a high school diploma, basic math, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Basic math skills.
Highly motivated.
Strong time management and priorities management skills.
Analytical and problem solving skills.
Computer literate with knowledge of Excel.
BPCS experience a plus.
Ability to interact with vendors and internal customers.
Metrics driven.

Responsibilities

Operate vision system and seal test equipment.
Assist in changeovers and manual inspection.
Assist in de-framing of gaskets and parts packaging.
Troubleshoot issues to maintain quality standards.
Complete paperwork, documentation, and BPCS/SQL transactions accurately and timely.
Assist in general housekeeping of the department.
Adhere to company safety policies and maintain a safe work environment.
Perform other duties or special projects as required.
