Viant Medical Inc. is seeking a Quality Inspector I for the first shift in San Antonio, TX. The role involves mechanical, visual, electrical, and dimensional inspections of components and assemblies, with documentation and GDP-compliant recordkeeping.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent.
• 6 months to 1 year of inspection experience preferred.
• ASQ certification desirable.

Responsibilities

• Performs visual, mechanical, electrical, and dimensional inspections of incoming material, in process product, labeling, and final assemblies.
• Records inspections and reviews DHRs for completeness and accuracy.
• Verifies label accuracy against artwork, specs, and documentation.
• Measures product attributes using calipers, templates, magna mike, pin gauges, rulers, and inspection equipment.
• Reviews component specs to confirm defects listed and applicable to product.
• Documents inspection results into forms, DHRs, or electronic systems.
• Initiates nonconformance reports when docs or product fail requirements.
• Communicates defects or gaps to Buyer/Planner, Engineering, or Quality leadership.
• Adheres to discrepancy reporting using NCRs, tags, and hold processes.
