Job summary

LHH Recruitment Solutions is assisting a well-established manufacturer in New Jersey in finding a Quality Technician/Inspector for the 2nd shift. The position emphasizes hands-on testing, strict documentation, and a strong adherence to quality specifications.

You will collaborate with QA and production teams, maintain testing records, and support CAPA initiatives while ensuring compliance with ISO 9001 standards whenever applicable. Training on the 1st shift for 3–6 months is possible.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in Quality Control or a similar role.
• Strong attention to detail, organized and results-oriented.
• Ability to work independently and with teams.
• Basic math skills and computer literacy required.
• Willingness to train on 1st shift for 3–6 months.
• Bilingual in Spanish and English is a plus.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 or other quality standards is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Perform hands-on product testing and inspections to ensure compliance with specifications.
• Accurately update and maintain product testing databases and quality documentation.
• Record data in both manual and electronic files.
• Communicate any non-conformance issues promptly to production teams and supervisors.
• Assist with documentation control and manage retain samples and related records.
• Support engineering teams with CAPAs and root cause analysis.
