Job summary

Prince Industries in Brattleboro, VT is seeking a Quality Inspector to ensure product and process compliance with AS9100 and customer standards. You will develop and maintain quality documentation and support manufacturing to deliver conforming parts.

The role requires GD&T proficiency, strong technical writing, and attention to detail. Training and growth opportunities exist in a safety-conscious, ISO-certified environment.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings with GD&T standards.
• Technical writing and documentation accuracy.
• Strong organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop, review, and maintain quality control documentation to meet AS9100, customer, and internal standards.
• Interpret engineering drawings and specifications, applying GD&T principles to inspection and production planning.
• Balloon customer and internal drawings; create and maintain inspection plans and shop-floor documentation.
• Manage revision control for internal and external changes; update and distribute documentation accordingly.
• Prepare and submit First Article Inspection Reports (FAIR) per AS9102 requirements; ensure complete and accurate records.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and assist with quality tasks across inspection, receiving, and other areas as needed.
• Maintain compliance with safety procedures and PPE requirements.
