Job summary

Milwaukee Electronics is seeking a Quality Inspector I to visually inspect PCB assemblies and box-build products, document results, and communicate findings to keep production at the highest standards.

You will perform inspections to IPC-A-610, use AOI systems, microscopes, and magnification lamps, and maintain accurate records. This is an entry-level role ideal for those with attention to detail who enjoy hands-on work in a team setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Entry-level position; prior electronics or manufacturing experience is helpful but not required.
• Ability to demonstrate basic computer proficiency for company systems and timecards.
• Basic math skills and ability to follow written work instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain focus during repetitive inspection tasks.

Responsibilities

• Perform visual inspections of PCB assemblies and box-build products to IPC-A-610 standards.
• Inspect SMT, through-hole, and rework assemblies for quality.
• Use AOI systems, microscopes, and magnification lamps for inspection.
• Verify products against drawings, specifications, and customer requirements.
• Document inspection results in FactoryLogix and daily records.
• Communicate defects and quality concerns to production and quality teams.
• Attend daily team meetings and collaborate across departments.
• Participate in continuous improvement and Lean initiatives.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
