Job summary

PROENERGY in Houston, TX is seeking a Quality Inspector to perform inspections and tests on in-process and finished products, ensuring quality standards and process controls throughout the Packaging Assembly and fabrication processes. Reports to the QA/QC Manager and work location is 6246 McHard Road, Houston, TX 77053.

The ideal candidate holds a CWI, has 2+ years of industrial quality experience, and can operate under ISO 9001.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; 2+ years in related industrial discipline.
• Must hold CWI certification.
• Ability to perform inspections and testing per drawings/specifications.

Responsibilities

• Serve as quality person for assigned departments, select proper weld procedure, track material and ASME pipe welds, gather documentation to develop turnovers, and perform MT and PT NDE testing.
• Perform inspections and testing activities to ensure continuous control over processes and testing are being achieved.
• Inspect, the work of ProEnergy personnel to drawings and/or specifications, verifying completeness and quality of work.
• Ensuring tests and procedures are properly understood and carried out.
• Inspect products being received, per engineering specifications.
• Generate various quality process performance reports and initiate any corrective actions as needed.
• Generate/maintain database for in-process and final inspection information.
• Ensure proper inspection documentation is being maintained through out the entire process.
