Job summary

Randstad USA in Hollywood, FL is seeking an experienced Quality Inspector to join our aviation repair facility. You will perform critical preliminary, in-process, and final inspections on civil and military aviation components to support airworthiness and quality standards.

The role requires FAA Part 145 experience, 4+ years in quality inspection, and familiarity with nondestructive testing. A high school diploma is required; an A&P license is preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years total experience in FAA Part 145 Repair Station.
• 4+ years as Quality Inspector.
• 2+ years dimensional inspection experience.
• 2+ years experience inspecting engine components.

Responsibilities

• Conduct preliminary, in-process, and final inspections on civil and military aviation articles.
• Interpret SBs, SLs, ADs, drawings, and FAA data.
• Perform dimensional, visual, mechanical, and functional testing on components.
• Review active work orders for sign-offs and compliance.
• Evaluate test data and track sampling results for materials.
• Issue inspection reports and label non-conforming items per procedures.

We are seeking an experienced Quality Inspector to join an established aviation repair facility in Hollywood, FL. In this role, you will perform critical preliminary, in-process, non-routine, dimensional, and final return-to-service inspections on civil and military aviation components. Required Qualifications & Experience:

• 5+ years of total experience working within an FAA Part 145 Repair Station.
• 4+ years of direct experience in a Quality Inspector capacity.
• 2+ years of specialized experience inspecting engine components.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience with dimensional inspection techniques.
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Familiarity with non-destructive testing scope and limitations, specifically Liquid Penetrant (PT) and Radiographic Inspection (RT) methods.
• strong computer proficiency (Microsoft Office Suite) and basic mathematical abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Active Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License.

Responsibilities

• Conduct preliminary, hidden-damage, in-process, and final return-to-service inspections on civil and military aviation articles in strict compliance with FAA, government, and technical standards.
• Interpret and work directly from Service Bulletins, Service Letters, Airworthiness Directives (ADs), engineering drawings, and FAA-approved technical data.
• Perform critical dimensional, visual, mechanical, and functional testing on incoming components, in-process assemblies, and finished products.
• Review and manage active work orders to ensure proper sign-offs, regulatory compliance, and accuracy.
• Evaluate test data, perform complex inspection set-ups, and track sampling results for incoming raw materials and components.
• Issue formal inspection reports and apply appropriate approval or rejection labeling to ensure non-conforming items are handled per quality procedures.
