Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Quality Inspector to perform dimensional and electrical inspections of received items, ensuring conformance to purchase orders, engineering drawings, specifications, and quality requirements.

The role involves reviewing vendor documentation, maintaining electronic inspection histories, and communicating with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Quality to verify requirements. Safety, 5S, and ESD procedures are part of daily duties.

Qualifications

• Quality Assurance, Engineering or similar discipline preferred.
• High School Diploma.
• Proficiency in using inspection tools and technologies including but not limited to; thread gages, pin gages, calipers, micrometers and multimeters.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and understand computer programs such as Epicor ERP System.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Goal-oriented self-starter with a sense of urgency.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-centered environment.

Responsibilities

• Performs dimensional and electrical inspections to verify conformance to purchase orders, drawings, specifications and quality requirements.
• Reviews and verifies vendor documentation; maintains electronic inspection history and nonconformances.
• Coordinates with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Quality to ensure verification requirements are met.
• Maintains 5S and clean work area; follows safety and ESD practices.
• Represents the company in supplier communications and related reports.
