Job summary

TRITON METAL PRODUCTS INC. in Hamilton, IN, is seeking a Quality Inspector Day to verify machined products meet specifications, safety, quality, and productivity standards, performing in-process and final inspections with precision instruments.

You will read blueprints, use calipers and tape measures, and collaborate with peers to maintain a strong team environment. High school diploma or GED required; experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Detail-oriented and ability to multitask.
• Self-motivated and dependable.
• Willingness to help fellow team members achieve production goals.
• Experience reading blueprints is a plus.
• Experience with calipers, protractors, and tape measure preferred.
• Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills.
• Quality experience is preferred but not mandatory.

The primary focus is to ensure product is being assembled to specifications and meeting all safety, quality, and productivity requirements. Quality Inspector team member at Triton will perform their duties in a manner that is representative of the Triton Way.

• Performs in-process inspections and final inspections on machined products utilizing a variety of precision measuring instruments.
• Effectively communicates with peers and interdepartmental personnel maintaining a cohesive team environment.
