Recommended Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• 2+ years of experience in quality control or inspection within a manufacturing environment
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications
• Familiarity with various inspection tools and metrology equipment (e.g., calipers, micrometers, CMM)
• Strong understanding of GD&T principles
• Ability to perform detailed visual inspections and identify defects

Bonus Qualifications

• ASQ Certified Quality Inspector (CQI) certification.
• Experience with various measurement tools beyond basic - e.g., CMM, optical comparators, profilometers.
• Familiarity with Six Sigma or Lean manufacturing principles.
• Ability to interpret and apply Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
• Proficiency with statistical process control (SPC) software.
