• Ability to interpret measurements against specifications and engineering requirements.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Effective communication and collaboration with team members.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Work in a manufacturing environment with adherence to safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Audit incoming materials, WIP components, and finished products to verify compliance with drawings and quality specs using precision measuring instruments.
• Use equipment such as gages, calipers, micrometers, depth gages, and CMMs to perform inspections and measurements.
• Identify, document, and segregate nonconforming materials with clear communication of rejection reasons.
• Perform dimensional layouts on sample components to support supplier tooling approvals and document inspection findings.
• Provide constructive feedback and recommendations to production teams to bring products into specification.
• Partner with Manufacturing Engineering, Materials, and Production teams to investigate and resolve quality concerns.
• Support Lean manufacturing and 5S to promote a safe, organized, and efficient work environment.
• Maintain accurate quality records and communicate inspection results effectively across teams.
