Job summary

Ashton North LLC is seeking an experienced CMM Programmer/Inspector to support quality through dimensional inspection and verification of machined components.

The candidate should have 3–5 years of CMM experience with PC-DMIS and CATIA, and strong attention to detail. Responsibilities include AS9102 first article inspection and clear documentation of findings.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of CMM experience, including programming and inspection.
• Proficiency with PC-DMIS and CATIA software.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and dimensional requirements.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate inspection findings clearly and maintain accurate records.

Responsibilities

• Program and operate coordinate measuring machines (CMMs) to inspect machined components.
• Verify part geometry and dimensions against engineering drawings and specifications.
• Ensure inspection documentation and design controls are appropriate and accurate.
• Complete first article inspection reports in accordance with AS9102 requirements.

• Work with production, engineering, and quality personnel to resolve inspection issues.
