EPTAM Precision in Northfield, NH is seeking a Class C Quality Inspector for 1st shift to join our manufacturing team. The role focuses on detailed mechanical inspection and maintaining documentation using CMMs and hand tools.

You will perform first piece, in-process, and final inspections, compare prints to parts, provide feedback to operations, and assist with calibration and ERP records. A high school diploma and 1+ year QC experience are preferred; internship or PT experience acceptable.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED; trade school preferred.
• 1+ year of experience in quality inspection, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Equivalent combinations of education and experience accepted.

Responsabilités

• Perform detailed inspection of all mechanical dimensions of parts and maintain documentation.
• Perform CMM operations as necessary to meet goals.
• Interpret reported CMM data and ensure data integrity.
• Perform first piece, in-process, and final inspection and maintain documentation.
• Keep count of parts and maintain records in ERP, and other supporting documentation.
• Measure components with calipers and micrometers.
• Compare prints and customer requirements with parts produced to determine final quality.
• Provide accurate feedback to the operations team.
• Assist with calibration system maintenance.
• Assist with equipment calibration.
• Communicate professionally and respond to feedback.

SCHEDULE:

1 st shift - 7:00 AM to 3:30PM (Monday through Friday)

POSITION SUMMARY: The Quality Inspector C is primarily responsible for the following:

• Perform detailed inspection of all mechanical dimensions of parts and maintain documentation.

• Perform CMM operations as necessary to meet assigned goals.
• Ability to interpret reported CMM data, while ensuring the integrity of the recorded information.
• Perform first piece, in-process, and final inspection for dimensions of parts produced and maintain documentation as required.
• Keep count of parts and maintain accurate records in ERP, as well as other supporting documentation.
• Perform routine measurement of components utilizing identified sophisticated equipment, including various hand gages, such as calipers and micrometers.
• Compare print and customer requirements with parts produced to determine the final quality of the part.
• Provide accurate and detailed feedback to the operations team.
• Assist with calibration system maintenance.
• Assist with equipment calibration as required. *
• Employees must be able to relate to other people beyond receiving instructions. Can get along with co-workers or peers and respond appropriately to feedback from a supervisor in a professional manner.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• EDUCATION: High School diploma, general education degree (GED) and/or trade school graduate preferred.
• EXPERIENCE: 1+ year(s) experience in quality inspection, preferably in a manufacturing environment, equivalent combinations of education and experience accepted OR demonstrated ability to execute the Essential Functions for this position. Internships and PT experience acceptable.
