Job summary

Skeeter Products, Inc. is seeking a Quality Inspector to help drive QA in our boat and trailer plant. You will assist daily QA activities, review processes, log data, and ensure products meet work orders and quality specs, while supporting QA projects in the assigned area.

The role requires knowledge of Skeeter QA processes, strong communication, and the ability to work overtime when needed, in a heat environment with lifting requirements up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Familiar with Skeeter QA processes and procedures.
• Ability to read and write English and communicate clearly.
• Knowledge of boat and trailer mechanical systems and cosmetic appearance.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications for data logging and reporting.
• Strong color sensitivity and visual acuity, plus manual dexterity.
• Willingness to work overtime and have good attendance.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.

Responsibilities

• Assist daily QA workflow in assigned area.
• Assist interdepartmental QA communications and process sharing.
• Log QA data accurately for traceability.
• Support QA projects and procedures in the area.
• Verify products meet work orders and quality specifications.
• Complete and file QA check sheets and reports.
• Provide cross‑department QA support as needed.
• Perform other duties or training as assigned.

JOB SUMMARY:

Responsible for assisting in daily QA activities as assigned for various areas of boat and trailer plant. Duties include part and process inspections, process reviews, QA projects, reporting, and all other duties as assigned.

JOB DUTIES:

• Assist daily QA inspection workflow at assigned area
• Assist in interdepartmental communication of QA Department process
• Perform data logging
• Assist in QA projects and procedures at assigned area
• Confirm product is built to work order and quality specifications
• Fill out and file proper check sheets and reports
• Cross assist inside Quality Department
• Any other duties or training assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:
