Job Title: Quality Inspector (Aerospace Manufacturing)

Location: Kinston, North Carolina

We are currently seeking several Senior Quality Inspectors for the aerospace sector in the Lenoir County area of North Carolina. The key goals for these roles include implementing innovative solutions to improve business processes, enhance quality, increase customer satisfaction, and reduce costs. We seek candidates experienced in managing quality projects who can facilitate effective communication with all stakeholders and partners.

Key Responsibilities:

The department of Quality Standards & Industrialization is responsible for deploying preventive quality standards and processes to ensure a right-first-time approach when introducing new products or industrial projects, as well as updating existing manufacturing processes.

You Will:

1. Deliver and maintain preventive quality standards deployment activities, engaging your team to meet strict deadlines.
2. Promote a quality culture throughout the company as an agent of change.
3. Investigate and identify risks.
4. Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and problem solving.
5. Ensure all documentation related to aircraft certification is compliant.
6. Implement changes or improvements to departments to ensure aircraft compliance.
7. Define and implement plans (audits, projects, etc.).
8. Work effectively under pressure.
9. Ensure continuous improvement, particularly through the application of problem resolution processes.
10. Identify, document, and standardize key processes to achieve objectives.
11. Share knowledge and best practices across the organization.

Required Skills:

• 3-5 years of experience in Quality and/or Process Engineering.
• Minimum of 5 years in an aeronautics/aerospace background.
• Knowledge of PPV methodology.
• Specific knowledge of standards and regulations such as AS9100, TCCA, FAA, EASA.
• 3-5 years of experience in Supply Chain Management.
