Job summary

Xyant Technology in Everett, WA, is seeking a Quality Inspector for aerospace manufacturing. This 3-month contract role focuses on mechanical and cosmetic inspections, first article inspection, and quality control during new product introductions.

Candidates should read engineering drawings, utilize CMMs or borescopes, and report non-conformances with strong attention to detail. Aerospace exposure is nice but not mandatory.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience performing Mechanical and Cosmetic inspections.

• Familiarity with quality disciplines including 8D reporting and 5 Whys.

Position: Quality Inspector - Aerospace/Aircraft

Duration: 3Months Contract

Direct Client Need

Key Responsibilities

• Mechanical and Cosmetic inspection
• Provide Quality control activities including new product introduction
• Provide inspection services for incoming goods, returns and assembly
• Document non-conformances and report major quality issues to leadership
• First Article inspection

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience performing Mechanical and Cosmetic Inspections using tools like CMMs, borescopes, or GD&T specs required.
  Please briefly describe your experience navigating these quality control processes in a manufacturing environment.
• Nice to have aerospace / aviation manufacturing experience (Not mandatory)
• It is essential that the successful candidate have solid inspection experience gained in a manufacturing environment.
• Technically competent, able to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Independence & Teamwork: Ability to work autonomously as well as collaborate effectively with a team.
• Attention to Detail: Capable of maintaining precision in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines.
• Strong Communication Skills: Good verbal and written communication and numerical skills are essential.
• Familiarity with Quality disciplines including 8D reporting, 5 Whys and the completion of corrective action reports. (also essential)
