Job summary

MacLean-Fogg is seeking a Quality Inspector for our Whitewater, Wisconsin manufacturing facility. You will inspect in-process and finished goods, record inspection data, and collaborate with production teams to resolve quality concerns and improve product reliability.

The role requires 2–4 years of relevant experience, basic math and QC tool knowledge, and strong attention to detail. This is an on-site, full-time/hourly position with a 3rd shift schedule (Mon–Fri, 10:30 PM–7:00 AM) in

  • Ability to interpret and follow detailed work instructions, specifications, and quality standards.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify defects, deviations, and non-conformities.
  • Basic math skills for working with dimensions, tolerances, and statistical data.
  • Basic knowledge of quality control tools and gaging instruments, including micrometers, calipers, and height gauges.
  • Basic computer skills for entering data and preparing inspection reports.
  • Clear verbal and written communication skills for documenting results and reporting quality concerns.
  • Ability to collaborate with inspectors, production employees, and supervisors and contribute to practical solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to continuous improvement efforts while maintaining a safe, clean, and organized work area using 5S principles.

Job Summary

What You'll Do as a Quality Inspector

Work Environment & Physical Requirements
