General Dynamics Electric Boat is seeking a Quality Inspector for an alternate 2nd shift at the Quonset Point facility in North Kingstown, RI. The role involves inspecting welds, structures, and components, with training in Quality Control procedures and department instructions.

Successful candidates must maintain MT or PT certification, with opportunities to expand into UT, Pre-Test, Electrical, Mechanical inspection after proficiency is achieved. A secure, mission-focused environment awaits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent OR 2 years related technical experience.
• Must be able to obtain MT, PT, or ET certification.
• Must be able to attain a key department qualification/certification within the first six months after starting as a Quality Inspector.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, shipyard procedures, test documents, blueprints and diagrams.
• Possess your own basic hand tools.
