Leidos Electronics Manufacturing is seeking a talented Quality Inspector. With offices across the United States engaging in the defense, space, cyber and commercial fields, Leidos provides responsive, cost-effective engineering, scientific and IT solutions.

Primary Responsibilities

• Inspect components and assembled parts.
• Must be able to read and understand assembly instructions.
• Perform Internal AS9100 audits.
• Write Non-conformance and start investigation to root cause.

Basic Qualifications

• Candidate must possess a High School Diploma/GED with a minimum of 2-4 years of experience inan ISO9001/AS9100 system or equivalent experience in DOD, Aerospace, or Automotive manufacturing quality control.
• Candidate should have working knowledge of IPC-a-610 and IPC-J-STD-001.
• Candidate must be able to lift up to 35 lbs.
• Must have demonstrated experience effectively communicating within a team environment.
• The position requires candidates to be capable of performing in a collaborative environment working closely with multi-disciplinary teams.
• Candidates must be a resident of North Alabama or willing to relocate to the area.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience using Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, & Outlook).
• Prefer knowledge of IPC/WHMA-A-620 and IPC-J-STD-001 Space Addendum.

This position is for 2nd shift work.

Pay Range: $48,100.00 - $86,950.00
