BlueScope Buildings North America, Inc. is seeking a Quality Inspector to perform inspections and tests on built products, ensuring adherence to quality policies and safety standards across upstream manufacturing processes.
The role emphasizes accurate measurement, data recording, and cross-functional collaboration with operators and welders. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma, strong computer skills, and the ability to read blueprints.
Quality Inspector at BlueScope works under limited supervision to perform quality inspections and tests on all products. Inspectors use a variety of measurement, verification, and testing tools and monitor repairs that arise during manufacturing. Primary responsibilities focus on upstream processes outside of the hand weld bay, including bar lines, plasmas, detail parts, panels, secondary operations, trim, and shipping, in alignment with safety, environmental, quality, and core policies as part of the Zero Harm and Zero Defects commitments.
