Essential Job Functions
  • Conduct Product Audits
  • Keep audit records according to inspection plans
  • Generate Non‑Conformity Reports when finding non‑conforming products
  • Release products that meet inspection requirements
  • Bring reports of readings and measurements made to products
  • Report on audit findings in cases of non‑conformities
  • Perform GR&R monitoring and control of MRB and scrap
  • Support receiving and shipments (dock audits)
  • Support the implementation of process improvements
  • Follow up on the instructions defined by the Quality Engineer
  • Work collectively to solve problems
  • Ensure record retention compliance
  • Basic knowledge in testing concepts, tools and methodologies
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints (product drawings)
  • Knowledge of basic‑relevant file formats
  • Ability to recognize quality defects and determine next steps: seriousness of issue, containment activities and countermeasure
  • Create and revise systems and procedures by analyzing operation practices, record‑keeping systems, forms of control and personnel requirements, implementing change
  • Participate, comply, and support environmental, health and safety system requirements
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Must be able to travel and work at customer locations when needed
Qualifications
  • Language Skills – Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos; ability to write simple correspondence and effectively present information in one‑on‑one and small group situations to customers, clients and other employees
  • Mathematical Skills – Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals; ability to compute rate, ratio and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs
  • Reasoning Ability – Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form; ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations
  • Computer Skills – Competence in personal computer; proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, e‑mail) and familiarity with other database‑related software
Experience
  • Experience on inspection and auditing products preferred
  • Basic knowledge of measuring equipment such as calipers, micrometers, pin gauges, and measuring tapes preferred
  • Basic knowledge of SPC, GR&R preferred
  • 1+ years quality systems experience (a plus)
  • Corrective actions and root cause analysis
  • Demonstrated knowledge of production safe work practices
  • Knowledge and ability to handle manual of shop tools
Education
  • High School degree / GED

Working Conditions
  • Work within a plant – factory environment where there is some exposure to noise, dust, fiberglass and heat
  • Must adhere to PPE requirements as defined in the safety manual when in the manufacturing area
