Job summary

Schaeffler Group USA Inc. in Fort Mill, SC is seeking a Quality Inspector to execute incoming inspections, perform check routines, and release deliveries that meet defined standards.

You will document results in IT systems, prepare parts for shipping, and follow safety rules while maintaining PPE usage; two shifts offer premium and a hiring bonus. Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions in English.
• Basic computer knowledge and MS Office skills.
• Basic knowledge of statistics and calculations preferred.
• Good visual acuity.
• Ability to lift medium-heavy objects if required.
• Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Execute incoming inspections for parts and/or raw material, according to given standards and procedures.
• Perform prescribed check routines for different deliveries, products and services.
• Release deliveries, products and services which meet defined expectations.
• Document inspection results and findings in the respective IT systems.
• Prepare and pack parts or products for internal or outward shipping.
• Follow all safety and production rules and ensure proper use of PPE at all times.
