Job summary

Morgan Truck Body in Corsicana, TX is seeking a Quality Inspector – 1st Shift to uphold our high engineering standards. You will inspect units against sales agreements, verify drawings, and direct teammates to rapid rework when needed to keep quality top-notch.

You’ll perform in-process and final inspections, partner with production supervisors, and drive continuous improvement while promoting safety. The ideal candidate has 3+ years in QA in manufacturing, strong communication, and proficiency

Qualifications

• Proven experience in quality control or quality assurance, 3+ years in manufacturing or QA environments.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate and lead with confidence.
• Attention to detail with strict safety protocols.
• Comfortable using Microsoft Office and basic computer tools.
• Must be 18 years or older.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and verify every unit against sales agreements and engineering drawings.
• Lead teammates to tackle rework and maintain quality.
• Conduct in-process audits with production supervisors to catch defects quickly.
• Perform final inspection to ensure trucks meet standards before release.
• Collaborate with manufacturing to hit on-time delivery and budget goals.
• Drive continuous improvement and safeguard quality from production to release.
• Train and inspire team on quality standards.
• Champion safety by enforcing policies and onboarding with safety practices.
• Keep workspace clean, organized, and safe.
• Step up to support the team and management.
