Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED minimum.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office to include Outlook, Word and Excel.
• Previous Quality Inspection experience.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• May require ability to write routine reports and speak before groups.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure.
• Ability to understand and apply written or oral instructions.

Responsibilities

• Inspecting / sorting stock for defects.
• Perform in-process quality inspections of producing machines.
• Assist with general housekeeping of the plant; both inside and outside.
• Perform quality audits such as GMP’s, Glass & Brittle Plastics, Pest Control, etc.
• Stacking off from the die cutters or folder gluers, as needed.
• Strip and separate die cut parts from sheets, as needed.
• Off load corrugated from the machines, as needed.
• Assist Lead Quality Auditor and Tier 1 Customer Quality Coordinator, as needed.
• Responsible for the overall Safety and cleanliness of equipment and area.
• Work in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Overtime is required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
