Job summary

Latitude Corp. is seeking a Quality Inspector 1 to join our 100% employee-owned team in Verona, WI. The role requires inspecting parts, maintaining MES records, and ensuring safety and quality across production.

We offer a climate-controlled, clean work environment with opportunities for overtime, training, and benefits. Manufacturing experience is preferred, and a strong attention to detail is essential for delivering defect-free parts to customers.

Qualifications

• Must be able to visually inspect parts with high attention to detail.
• Ability to differentiate between different parts and materials.
• Possess basic math, reading, and computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Work safely and ensure hazardous conditions are eliminated. Follow company safety procedures.
• Ensure the highest quality standards are met with all work done.
• Understand Quality / Safety Policy and Objectives.
• Ensure output meets required deadlines while executing above.
• Act as a liaison between Quality and Production departments. Ensure cross departmental communication is accurate and effective.
• Final inspection and packaging of parts prior to delivery to customer.
• Complete daily checklists on designated equipment and maintain records.
• Accurately maintain MES system as instructed.
• Arrive to work in a punctual manner and be willing to work overtime when needed.
• Assist in monthly inventory process.
• Maintain neat and clean work area.
• Other ad hoc duties as assigned.

• Physical- Capable of lifting 40 lbs. safely or with assistance. Capability of standing and bending over for long periods of time while performing manual labor with or without reasonable accommodations.
